CG Forest Department Recruitment 2023

The Chhattisgarh Forest Department is inviting applications from candidates having proficiency in national level sports for the recruitment of forest guard under player quota in various offices/forest divisions. There are a total of 02 posts available for recruitment in the Office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Raipur Forest Division, Raipur.

Educational Qualification:

  • To apply for the recruitment, the applicant must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) from a recognized institution/university.

Age Limit:

  • The age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 01.01.2023.


The selected forest guards will be paid (19500-62000) Level – 4, and will be paid 70 percent of the basic pay in the first year, 80 percent in the second year, and 90 percent stipend and other allowances in the third year during the probation period of 03 years.

Selection Test:

  • After scrutinizing the applications, candidates will have to go through the selection process as prescribed by the government.
  • Qualified candidates will be called for a competitive examination/physical efficiency test as per requirement, for which information about the scheduled date will be sent separately and will be uploaded on Traveling allowance will not be eligible for this.
